Smooth taste, slightly fizzling, somewhat bitter, with a bit dry finish. Some metal aftertaset maybe, furthermore a nice beer. Lots of carbonation. Nice.

Flasche mit McTapps geteilt. Etwas muffig im Antrunk, worauf eine ordentliche Malzladung folgt. Hat etwas rauchiges im Abgang, bleibt aber auch weiterhin überraschend muffig. Schade.

Clear dark amber in colour with steady and airy head and medium body. Nose of something undefinable....maybe bitter bathing foam. Taste is much better: Medim bitter hops, mild grains, basement, cloves, thyme and bitter onions. Easy to drink but just little bit too dull and dusty.

330ml bottle. Clear dark amber colour with average to huge, frothy, diminishing, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy, dark malty aroma, herbal hoppy overtones. Taste is dark malty, minimally roasty, minimally spicy; dry hoppy overtones.

Detmolder Landbier ist für mich einfach kein Landbier! Dafür ist es einfach zu wäßrig und lasch. Die Röstmalzaromen verhindern eine schlimmere Wertung, aber ein derart uninspiriertes, nichtssagendes "Land"bier ist mir selten unter den Rüssel gekommen. Finger weg!

A wonderful beer from a small brewery which is managed by a family (three women). Not too bitter and: buyable in practical "Bügelflaschen".

Pours a light brown colour with a thin vanilla head. Slightly watery, plenty of carmel in the aroma.

Thanks to Gabriel for this bottle. Pours a deep amber color with a big off white head.. Smells of rich malt, yeast and mild hops. The taste follows the nose with a touch of sourness then a dry and slightly hoppy finish. The beer is a bit above light in body with bright carbonation.
