Brown with a tiny off-white head. Aroma of cola with a touch of winegum. Sweet cola flavour with a hint of grainy malt

Süßer Colaantrunk, der von der Süße an Weingummi erinnert. Muffig, pelzig, dann vom Bier geringfügig herb. Zu süß und künstlich! 4/4/4/4/8/4

Das Etikett läßt ein Weihnachtsbier vermuten - doch weit gefehlt. Detmolder Moon besteht zu 50% aus Detmolder Landbier und zu 50% aus einem kalorienarmen und coffeinhaltigen Erfrischungsgetränk (eine Light-Cola?). Im Geruch Cola-bierig, süß. Süßlicher Antrunk. Dann rasch süßstoffartige Bitterkeit, wodurch das Bier im Hintergrund steht. Die künstliche Bitterkeit setzt sich nun vollends durch und ist auch im Nachhall noch wirksam. Chemisch. Schlecht. Bottle. Brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is cola, malt, lemon. Flavour is cola, lemon. Why ?

Bottle. Pours a clear and brown beer with no head. The aroma is cola and sweetness. The flavor is following the nose with some additional bitterness. The palate is bitterness with some notes of sweetness. Overall a boring beer.

Clear medium amber (cola) color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige (cola) head. Aroma is moderate malty, moderate cola. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110320]

Pours brown with a small white head. Aroma is cola and winegum. Flavour is cola, winegum and light hop. Light bitter notes.

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. A clear, dark brown drink with a small, beige head. The aroma and flavor consists of cola and some lemon, a little spiced herbal touch too. I really don’t understand the habit of blending beer and cola. Thin on the palate, with some bitterness in the finish. Shy away from this one please. 110320
