0,33 l swing-top bottle. Pours clear golden, fine white crown. Grainy und light hopy on the nose. Starts surprisingly bitter. Too bitter in my opinion. Later metallic, apples and pepper with grainy background. Not really a hit.

0.33 Cl bottle. Pours a clear golden yellow with a frothy white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is pretty mild. Sweet hay and cereal Initial flavor is generic sweet malt, which lingers through the middle, giving way to a minimal hop character. Combo of sweet and dry hops linger. Overall, a pretty generic lager on the sweeter side. Nothing stands out, but also nothing offensive either.

Squat little 33cl swing top bottle pours with a crystal clear gold body that supports a bright white head that leaves behind spotty lacing. Good looking beer. The mild aroma offers up some pilsner malts and a light spicy hoppiness. The taste has a pleasing hoppy spiciness to it to go along with a mix of floral hops and smooth maltiness. The hops have both bitterness and a nice flavor as well. I get only a faint fruity ester note but this beer mostly delivers a fresh hoppiness and smooth slightly grainy maltiness. I like it.

Bottle. Light yellow in colour, with white fading head. Aromas of fruits and citrus from the hops, slightly grainy. Taste is A bit sweet and bitter, watery. Aftertaste has some malt and hop, but not much or long. Palate is rather flat and watery. One of the better Detmolder beers I´ve tasted, but despite the name nothing special, drinkable.

Geruch malzig, getreidig, leicht fruchtig. Geschmack malzig würzig, getreidig, leicht fruchtig.

Thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that bottle. Looks simple but okay. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts strong malty, but with some strange moldy notes. Some fruity hints of apricot, but all in all quite unbalanced, metallically and moldy. Not my favourite.

330ml bottle. Clear golden colour with average to huge, frothy, diminishing, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy aroma with slightly over average intense bitter hoppy overtones. Taste is cautiously grainy, typical "Teutonic" hoppy overtones in over-average intensity: acidic hints of chlorophyll, an approach of fruit. Not as boring as the German standard.

Bottle, many thanks to McTapps. Light golden color with small white head. Malty aroma with earthy notes. Malty taste with grassy hops. Simple, but easy drinkable thirst quencher.

Thank you Erzengel for the bottle! Pours a clear bright yellow with a nice white head. Smell is grain, light sweet malt and some grassy hops. Taste is a mirroe of the nose finishing crisp, dry and slightly bitter. Light body and average carbonation. A crisp helles but still not particular special.

Arme Germanen, dann doch lieber Met!
