Brown and cloudy in color. Moderate alcohol at 5.5% ABV. Some flavors of chocolate and toasted bread come through, low hop character. This replaces the stout in the summer months due to its easy drinking nature. Clean and refreshing for a dark beer.

draft sampler at the brewpub - Pours medium brown with a thin white head. The aroma is mainly caramel malts. The flavor is sweet as expected with some slight sour notes. It’s thin bodied and goes down easy.
