This India pale ale is aggressively hopped and has intense maltiness. High hop bitterness, flavor and aroma. Medium fruitiness with relatively high alcohol. Medium body, light amber color.

Tap at the brewpub. Amber pour with a thin white head. The aroma is soft and orangey. Nice light sweetness along with a touch of frutiness. Soft and lightly hoppy with a kiss of juicy fruity malts. Lingering fruity flavour over a softly hoppy finish. A fresh, tasty IPA.

On tap at the brewpub. Hazy copper with some off white head. Nice hoppy aroma with some citrus and floral notes. Mellow taste, pretty smooth with a light bitterness. A solid IPA.

Tap @ Detroit Beer - Hazy orange pour, orange citrus hops. Smooth caramel malts, stinging carbonation and hoppy. Nice balance, but a tad on the sweet side. Orange juice.

Last night on tap at DBC before Tigers game. Pleasant surprise--$2 pints and BBQ specials for a birthday celebration. I was very impressed with this IPA!! Great balance and a perfect amount of hops for me to session Excellent finish and the hops tasted so fresh--citrus bang. Perfect for a summer day like yesterday. Well done DBC and thanks for setting the table for a great night!. BTW, best BBQ brisket I have ever had (better than slows, believe it or not)--should make this a regular menu item.

Draft pint at the brewpub. Do you ever eat a plate of food and say to yourself, "Yeah, that wasn’t bad," but you could kinda tell the cook followed a recipe note by note? That’s kinda how I felt about this one (and another Detroit BC offering) ... not really bad, if a bit flat, but just boring and uninspired. (#3812, 1/23/2010)

Pours a slight amber orange with medium off-white head. Aroma strong of citrus hops, slight malt, grass, and pine. Flavor matches well, but is dominated by grapefruit, which is nice for a glass, but not my favorite hops bite. Overall a very nice brew...for one glass.

on tap-pours a rich off white head that laces and amber color. Aroma is sweet pine/citrus (cascade), secondary medium malt. Taste is sweet pine/citrus-bitter (cascade), secondary medium malt. Medium body. OK carbonation.

Pours cloudy, amber, with a fine, white head. Aroma is really strong with hops. Flavor has a lot of hop flavor with a bit of over-bitterness for my tastes. Not bad. The malt undertones create a good backdrop to feature the hops.

Draft at brewpub. Poured a hazy dark amber with an average head that was lasting and produced excellent lacing. Moderate hoppy aroma. Medium body with a slick texture. Heavy hoppy citrus flavor with a moderate bitter finish. Good brew.
