UPDATED: APR 22, 2005 Tap: hazy golden yellow with decent head. Nice lacing. Aroma is all citrus hops and maybe a little floral. Flavor was well balanced malt and hops, a little surprising but good. Decent IPA.

Tap. Fairly well done IPA. Hazy light amber in color. Nice whitish head with decent lacing. Citrus hops in the aroma although not overpowering some malt nose. Medium bodied, decent balance between malt and hops.

Drank this beer after it had sat for 10 minutes and had warmed up a bit. Very aggressive hoppiness with a maltiness that was quite pleasing. Do not drink this right off they serve it to cold. LET IT WARM UP!!!

UPDATED: MAY 9, 2007 Light amber color with lots of light orange/straw yellow. Again, little head, but tons of lacing. Served ice cold. Aroma is quite lacking due to the serving temperature, but citrus cascades is there. Sediment again thankfully. Begins very dry and bitter with (surprise) tons of cascades. I was ready to write this off as another ultra-unoriginal highly hopped American IPA, but as it warmed, a decent roasted malt came out, very subtle but impressive. On the finish there was a good mix of yeast and malt and the hops stuck with me and were quite clean and fresh. High quality beer, needs to be served warmer. I’d say medium to full body even. A great aftertaste, bitter but leaves a nice clean malty finish. The best i’ve had here so far. Again, I will have to rerate after I have tried this beer at a more appropriate temperature.
