On tap: the aroma has notes of moderate chcolate and light black coffee. The beer is a dark brown with no transparency and virtually no head, just a few stray tan bubbles. The flavor starts with light chocolate and finishes with a lightly sour roasted coffee flavor. The mouthfeel is rather thin and flat.

Draft. Darik brown/mahogany with some light fizzy off white head. Nose was rather roasty, almost a tease. Taste was some minimal roast with a slightly bittered finish with a clean hoppiness. What was kinda nasty was a constant vegetalness that would not go away. Served too cold. Too much carbonation.

Draft at brewpub. Poured a black color with an average light brown head that diminished slowly. Light roasted malt aroma. Medium body with a thin texture. Small roasted malt flavor with a short dry finish.
