1/19/13. 12oz bottle from ABC. Clear golden pour with a small khako head. Faint aroma of pale malts and straw. Light flavor with apples, a bit of a weird spiciness, metal, grass, and hay. Meh.

Tallahassee, Fl - ABC Fine Wine & Spirits - Betton - 12 oz bottle. Sparkling medium golden pour, nice sticky snow white head with plenty of lacing. Aroma is pretty much neutral, hints of pepper. Flavor is mellow with some buttery notes, a hint of honey sweetness, a touch of pepper. Mouthfeel is crisp. Much better than expected.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 nick76 (4077) - Tampa, Florida, USA - OCT 24, 2012
The aroma is weak but has malt and grassy hops. The appearance is golden with a foamy head. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is thin. Overall it fits the style and is drinkable but not a great beer.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Aurelius (3445) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - OCT 15, 2012
Funky, doughy aroma with whatever ester it is that makes it smell Bohemian. Almost clear (if not) medium gold, short white head. Standard US longneck, old world label. Sweetish, nutty grain flavors, a little tangy. Mild hopping. The body was a bit floppy and watery towards the end. Long, but muted bitter finish. Not bad, not great - lawnmower/picnic beer. ABC Bull Run.

golden with small head. fairly generic pilsner. not much in the way of hops in the finish. forgettable.

12oz Bottle. Thanks Sean! Fruity aroma, cooked pears and blackberries. Straight-shooting sweetgrass stems. Initial impression yield soapiness, sweetness, and lager fermentation gone warm and short. This doesn’t crackle with fresh pils malt for me. The malt is nicely full of minerals, but it’s a bit soft and goopy, like cooked hot cereal. The mouthfeel is rich and full and I’m missing some sprightly, lively tingling hops to liven up the finish in a nice way. They’re distantly present, but not enough for balance. I can’t help but taste banana and that is just plain out of place. Not the finest stateside Bo Pils.
