Bottle @ home.

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Awesome beer! Pours with towering airy head (used stemmed flute). Tones of fine carbonation keep the head alive. Smells like lemons, spring meadow. Taste is malt and lots of astringent hops. This is a beauty of a beer, and can be popped like champagne for a celebration!

Cor límpida e ambar, bastante espumosa. Aroma intenso e persistente, frutado e levemente alcoólico. Paladar frutado, intenso e peculiar.

Smak: tung belgisk, blomstrete, parfymert. Mye mer sødme enn forventet.

I’ve had the 2005 and 2009 and both have a nice, lemon-citrus flavor. Somewhat dry, almost sparkling. This is about as close to champagne as beer gets. My first bottle was a Christmas gift from Paul T. in 2008.

Dec 2011 - Nice presentation. Over-carbonated and not much flavour. Expected more for the price I paid.

Kind of was expecting more from this. Opened a rocket gusher at a good temperature. Off-white head was so big as to be almost unmanagable, but then settled to zero and no lace. Color is a clear yellow with plenty of bubble trails. Body and carbonation are good. Aroma is mainly yeasty, with some spice and malt. Flavor is where I docked them again as the name says "Brut", and it’s definitely on the sweet side while being similar to nose but more complex. Finish is like flavor, very boozy, and leaves a slight carbonic tang tingle in the throat.

@basunen: tydlig doft av fläder och ingefära. Tydlig kryddig och lite tvålig smak. Lång, lite tung och kanske en aning jobbig i längden men god i små doser. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma of spice, green fruit, apples, pears, and a funky barnyard fregrance. Pours a clear yellow with mostly diminishing white head. The taste was spiicier and sweeter than I was expecting. There is also a strong herbal finish. Medium body and fizzy carbonation. Overall, I and the friend I shared this with we’re not impressed.
