First brewed at Bosteels, transfered to the Champagne region of France were it is treated much like a champagne with the bottles inverted and the yeast expunged and bottle recorked.

Carbonation is obviously high, but nowhere near offense or inappropriate. Well integrated with some under-ripe green apple aroma, some white pepper and some clove. Wasn’t expecting this to be so incrediably sessionable. A little pricey at $48, but well worth it.

Bottled 750ml. A pale yellow beer with a white champagne like head. Aroma is spicy, flowery/herbal and sweet. Taste is spicy with citrusy notes, some fruity notes as well. Very high carbonation with a nice mouthfeel. It is a great beer but a bit too expensive

Bottle into flute glass. Pours a hazy straw yellow with plenty of head. Aroma is of hay and lemon and leather. Taste is of lemon tartness mixed with liquid leather and hay. Good replacement for champagne on New Years. -- rated via 'Find A Beer' for Blackberry 10

2012. Bonne année. Blonde très légèrement voilé. Gros collet à grosses bulles ephémère. Très forte effervescence. Sucré. Très mielleuse. Bien aromatique. Herbacé. Romarin. Menthe. Épicé. Gingembre. Fruits exotiques. Lychee. Papaye. Pomme verte sucré. Un peu de banane. Légèrement boisé/liège. Finale sucré/mielleuse et très légèrement amère. Un vrai délice.

Champagnebier gebrouwen door Borstbeeld. Bewerking via methode champenoise. Lichtzoet iets fruitig. Mooi uiterlijk flink veel koolzuur. Voorzichtig behandelen. Flink aan de prijs. Drink ik er niet helemaal vanaf. Kun je beter Karmeliet drinken van diezelfde brouwerij maar een stuk aangenamer geprijsd. Toch leuk om eens te drinken bij een feestelijke gelegenheid. Happy Newyear

The beer is perfect to substitute a real champagne. That’s what we did in the new years eve 2015. It’s moderatly sweet and fruity. A bit dry. Lots of carbonation with a medium thick mouth feel. The fruity part is very interesting.

750cc bottle. Pale yellow with white champagne like head. Hop, flowers citrus and ginger. Malty. Sweet but with a dry finish. Nicely balanced. Really feels like champagne and that is the idea. Very different. An outstanding drink for champagne occasions.

Shared bottle at home. Pours golden with big foamy head. Aroma of green tea, fruit, ginger. Taste sweet with a lot of ginger, tropical fruits, medicine. Highly carbonated.

Bij het openen van de fles lag de helft er al naast vanwege de druk erop. Bier smaakt fruitig en net zoals champagne vrij bubbelig. Schuim is vrijwel gelijk verdwenen. Redelijk lekker maar had er meer van verwacht.

A different and complex beer. Translucent golden color. Huge white foam at first, but not last. Sparkling (high carbonation). The alcohol is noticeable in the throat, but is very well inserted in the set and gives an appropriate flavor. Flavor can clearly notice the floral, fruity. Being a champaignoise with such unusual flavors emerge as rosemary, basil, yeast, wood (oak), citrus, fennel, white wine, butter, sage, pear and even apricot. an explosion One of the lighter beers that have drank and was a surprise. This drink seems that marks its fully taste and say "clean" your mouth as it has a high astringency. Maybe it’s a little too sweet, a little compromising the taste, aroma, drinkability and therefore the set. He even slightly seasick. Asking a dish to follow. Really sophisticated and just as it shows a great peculiarity in its assessment.
