First brewed at Bosteels, transfered to the Champagne region of France were it is treated much like a champagne with the bottles inverted and the yeast expunged and bottle recorked.

Dourada límpida, com espuma abundante mas não muro densa. Frutada, picante, com álcool se pronunciando apenas na "garganta". ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From the archives. Bottle@home. Head: white, delicate. Colour: clear golden. Aroma: flowery hops. Taste: some spices and fruit, bitter-sweet body. Palate: dry, bitter-sweet finish, lively CO2. Overall: very nice.

From bottle @ Zythos Beer Festival. Slightly hazy pale yellow with a frothy white head and little lacing. Aroma is of rosemary, yeast, floral, alcohol and honeyed malt. Taste is rosemary, floral notes, spices, honeyed malt and a warming finish. Medium body. Lively carbonation. Somewhat dry finish. Decent beer, but doesn’t worth the price tag. Interesting and different though.

Strange beer. More like a sparkling wine than a beer. Pour nice golden with a white head. Yeast, sugar in aroma. Also hints of malt, spices and hops in the nose. Tastes like - not sure - 50% of champagne with a 50% of a nice hoppy beer. Cool!

Clean pale golden color, big white head. Dry aroma and taste of champagne with tart, citrus, spice and grass notes. Fizzy carbonation.

Bottle: Served in a Chouffe glass: Bigger lively white foamy head that disappears pretty quick, on top of a clear yellow colored beer. Aromas of apple pie, cloves, yeast, light wilder tones, light manure tint, light malty and a hint of mint. Flavours of cloves, yeast, sparkling, bitter, corn, light malty, some fruits like apples and grapes, some spices like cloves, mint and cinnamon and some herbs. Aftertaste is a mix of yeast, corn, cloves (as said before), light wood and bitters... Low carbo, harsh creamy spicy mouthfeel, bit more than medium bodied and a creamy texture. Lightly complicated but more a difficult beer to drink... Expected more! Couldn’t finished a bottle!

The pale yellow colour and the small bubbles do indeed hint at chapagne. Nose smells heavily of yeast and alcool. Taste is similar, predominantly alcool, yeast, sugars. I didn’t like it and think it is heavily overpriced.

Ressemble plus à du crémant qu’à de la bière. Belle bouteille, à déguster dans une flûte. Peu d’intérêt sinon, aucune persistance en bouche. Et beaucoup trop chère.
