Uma cerveja forte com alto teor alcoólico. Um sabor levemente salgado (assim como o preço). Vale o investimento, porém não é uma cerveja pra farra.

Pours golden color with a large head. Aroma of fruits, yeast, some mild spices, some malts, hay and mild alcohol notes. Flavor of spices, sourish fruits, yeast, toffee, some caramel and malts. High CO2, sourish finish. A big disappointment.

Pours like the finest champagne with bubbles so small you can hardly spot them rising up the surface, you better watch out for that big head of foam attacking the unexpecting one. I'm a big fan of lambic, and this awesome beer has some resemblance of great vintage lambics. This beer is however a little bit to the sweet side, but not too sweet.. It's very balanced and it's totally made of awesome.

geschonken in champagneglazen, stevig gekoeld, mooie goud/oranje/gele kleur met veel bubbels en mooie kraag.
aroma; champagne (gist), wijn (druiven), bloemen, kruiden, zoet.
smaak: heerlijk het fris zurige van appels gecombineerd met wijn(druiven), wat peperigs en de mout en hop tonen.
zoals verwacht volle body met hoog carbonatie.
prima uitzondering tussen champagne en bier.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 chris__hartley (162) - Ontario, CANADA - JAN 1, 2013
It pours ochre and very hazy, translucent (yet with some clarity); the head is off-white and bubbly. The aroma has notes of: ginger, orange-zest, Belgian candi-sugar, alcohol, barnyard (champagne funk), coriander, and sage. The taste is heavy sweet that finishes with very light bitterness; candied-apricots, ginger, lemon-zest, alcohol, candied-lemons, and pinot-blanc. The palate is full-bodied, and sticky, and heavily carbonated with micro-bubbles, and a long finish. Overall, overpriced but very fulfilling – unique.

A - Lots of bubbles, slightly hazy golden-orange, big finger of frothy white head. Fades fairly slowly.
S - Sweet grainy malts with a bit of cracker, bit of tart green fruit, some floral and herb scents, champagne yeast, and a bit of lemon zest.
T - Sweet grainy and cracker malts, with some lemon zest, tart green fruits, floral and herb flavors, lavender, champagne yeast, hint of booze.
M - Medium bodied with moderate-heavy carbonation. Smooth with a dry and lightly sweet finish.
D - Nicely balanced. Good complexity and nice clean finish.
4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 Douberd (617) - NETHERLANDS - JAN 1, 2013
First beer for 2013, just right after the year’s change. Bottle 750 ml, at home, of course, poured into a flute glass as the label recommends. ABV 11,5%.
Nice thick head of two fingers (filled my glass with only two sips of beer), white in colour, average retention. Lots of bubbles in the glass and a clear deep golden body.
Nice aroma, kind of weird at first but very pleasant as you sniff it a couple of times more. Cookies, citrus and lots of floral aromas.
Very unique taste, quite sweet, roses, some spices, limes, the alcohol very well hidden, it feels even less than maybe 7-8%,
Medium to full on the body, with lots of carbonation as I expected.I am not a big fan of overly carbonated beers but fits very well on this one. Little dryness on the palate that doesn’t linger for long.
Very nice beer, I haven’t tasted something similar before. Glad I chose it for new year’s celebration.
