A hazy, golden beer leaving a broad and pretty curtain of laces. Spicy and alcoholic aroma. The body is huge with lots of malt - sweetish malt. Very soft and smooth mouthfeel with big and vulgar champagne bubbles. Rather spicy with a gingery note although I doubt any spices are added. The alcohol is distinctly present in the finish. This really has aged gracefully. I needed a strong and boozy beer for today’s very special occasion and this one pretty much did the trick. 190607 yespr (12443), Copenhagen O, Denmark

Pours golden and clear yellow with a lacing white head. Spiced towards herbal aroma, dry, oregano and thyme. Prickling carbonation. Flavour is spiced and slight soapy but it tastes lovely. Reminds me of spiced Italian food. Mellow malt flavour and spices lingering into the far finish. This is unsual and yet fantastic - I wouldn’t be able to drink a whole bottle though. omhper (12338), Stockholm, Sweden

Firm and full bodied, yet with light, sparkling mouthfeel. Medium sweet. Fresh and peppery. Very complex, yet drinkable. A good beer, but only the presentation is really fantastic. fonefan (11999), VestJylland, Denmark

Flavour is very yeasty and strawish at first but quickly turns into citrus, caramel and flowery. Indeed a very champagneish beer, as I had friends with champagne at the same time who let me taste those too. Good pressure with the cork, it flew lots better from this than my friends champagne .)
