Bottle from Oliver’s . Pours a light yellow, smell bubbles. Chilled inthe fridge for a couple of days...according to the instructions. That’s right, this beer comes with instructions. Anyway, nice head that disappears quickly. Small champgne bubbles. It was nice at first but the second glass was tough. Reminds me of mint mouthwash. Anyway, it was alright, not al that I hoped for.

Aug 22, 2008 750ml bottle. Yellow pour with big initial cloud-white head that diminishes fast. Nose is floral spices, sweet malts and pear aromas as well. Flavor is initially sweet, and then turns to a more balanced spices and fruit flavors. Finishes a bit bitter, but clean.

Aug 16, 2008 750ml bottle shared at Houston BA Tasting. Pours a clear yellow with a white head. Nose is of yeast and sour fruit. Taste is of spices and fruit. Mouthfeel is medium with carbonation. Did not impress me.

Aug 13, 2008 Bottle. Clear, very sparkling, golden color with a huge but very quickly-diminishing white head. Aroma is very fruity with some apples, apricots, peaches, citrus, some yeast and spices.A slightly sweetish flavor at first with light maltiness and caramel notes. Continues drier and spicy with fruits (citrus, green apple notes) and finishes bitter with spicy hops and alcohol. Medium-bodied with lots of carbonation. Too much spiciness and alcohol flavor for me. The boozy character gets a bit more bearable as the beer warms up a bit.
