COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
First brewed at Bosteels, transfered to the Champagne region of France were it is treated much like a champagne with the bottles inverted and the yeast expunged and bottle recorked.

Bought a couple of bottles to celebrate a special birthday. It was also the first time I had the chance to taste it. The bottle were cooled (3°Celcius) and served in Champagne glasses. The beer is very carbonated, golden yellow. Foamy which dissapears quiet fast. I smeels sofly, fruity, and reminds me a hint of ginger as well. The flavour is sweet, spicy, some nuts but the palate is very light, I don’t taste any hint of alcohol despite the high ABV. Fantastic replacement for champagne, for special occasions, however, like Champagne, way too expensive to buy it more regulary. In general, it was a very nice experience and my friends did like the beer as well

The pale yellow colour and the small bubbles do indeed hint at chapagne. Nose smells heavily of yeast and alcool. Taste is similar, predominantly alcool, yeast, sugars. I didn’t like it and think it is heavily overpriced.

Ressemble plus à du crémant qu’à de la bière. Belle bouteille, à déguster dans une flûte. Peu d’intérêt sinon, aucune persistance en bouche. Et beaucoup trop chère.

Bubblegum straw hay, grass and vinous cider. Earthy hops, a Sweet bubblegum grassy flavor. Bizarre first taste, improves as you know what to expect. A little disappointing given the price tag, but it’s not bad

Bottle. Pour is bright yellow with thick white head. Aroma of bright and fresh fields. Spicy notes on the nose and taste. Lively palate. Multi layered finish. Dry and slightly bitter finish. Crisp. Leaves a warmth in your throat.

Absolutely a middle ground between beer, cider and wine. Appley, white grapes, bready, clean yeast, sparkling nose but not spritzy. Light funk, not sour and a herbal note but not hoppy. Drinks easily, fuller than expected and not too much carbonation actually, so it drinks better than expected. Very light beer but not without character. Glad to have tried this one. Many thanks to Cecile and Nico for sharing this bottle with me!

Backlog. Bought this at a limited release at Systembolaget. One of the weirdest beers i’ve ever had. Unfortunately it wasn’t fitting to my taste.
