[1254-20080404] 330mL bottle. Citrus navel orange peel hops aroma with mild pine and hoppy grains. Hazy, medium brown orange body with a long-lasting creamy off-white head. Light fruity, light sweaty, flavour is mostly grainy sour fruit mixed with a little earl gray tea. Medium body has mild dry tea characteristics. Interesting to try.

2008-04-04. Hazy brown body with a modest foamy beige head. (3+) Interesting aroma of light spice and dandelions, with muted grassy notes. (7+) Similar flavour, light zippy spice, light citrus character to a tangy overall character. Underlying malt is a secondary player but provides a necessary cohesive thread to it all. Very light bitterness. (7+) Average palate is pleasantly smooth. Perhaps I am being a touch generous in the score, but this pushed the right buttons for me today. Spicy character reminds me a bit of Fantome. Bottle from Délices et Caprices, Brussels

Bottle, courtesy of and shared with Jerc and Mabel from their recent Belgium trip. Dark hazy brown, bog foamy white head, good lacing. Fruity, musty malt aroma, touch of honey and yeast - nice! Good taste - floral spices malt. Nice soft mouthfeel. Simple and good.

Ruby-brown beer with a good yellowish bubbly head. Sweet, deep malts nose, earthy, even a bit vinous. Sweet taste, human sweat, dark malts, brown candi sugar, not very exiting. Very full-bodied, near syrupy, viscous, buttery even. Alcohol obvious. Rich, but a bit forced, IMO.
