Hint of corn. A bit sour taste, perfect summer pilsner. In the hot brazilian sun this is perfect.

Tap at Devassa Ipanema. It pours yellow, with a thick white head. The nose is butter, cornflakes and grass. The taste is hay, straw, butter, grass and some alcohol. Medium body, moderate carbonation and creamy mouth-feel. Boring and lacking in flavour.

Can 350 ml, gift from Brazil Pours a clear golden color with a big white fluffy head with good retention. Aroma is rather weak with malty adjuncts and soft herbal hops. Nothing that stands out from most South American pale lagers. Taste is watered down and weak. I don’t know if they remembered to use malted barley at all. It seems like all the effort that went through this Pale Lager was focused on achieving a nice fluffy head. Overcarbonated. I’m sure Brazil has much better to offer.

Draught at SP airport. Yellow pour, yellow taste - slightly better than your standard BZ lager but pretty boring otherwise.

Yellow with a fizzy white head. Aroma is a little more hoppy than usual Pale Lagers. Taste is lightly bitter but gets rather horrible after a few. Devassa’s worst
