Tap at Devassa, Ipanema. It pours amber, with a thin white head. The nose is lemon soap, metal and sweet fruity malt. The taste is hay, straw, sweet malt, soap, dishwater, and metal, with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. The worst beer I have had from Devassa.

Bottle. Clear, dark-hued orange body, big foamy white head. Nose gives hints of caramel and honey melon, otherwise there’s not much going on here. Taste is sweet malts, pronounced banana and some hints of strawberries. Pretty nice actually. Smooth and pretty drinkable, despite lacking flavor and being kinda dull. A pretty decent ale from Brazil, easy drinking at least.

Bottled from SP airport. Brown with some light hoppy aromas and taste. Not super "tropical" but not bad for a brazilian pale ale.

Medium brown colour with a short lived white head. Aroma is sweet and a little fruity. Taste is also sweet malty but a little watery. Probably one of the better Devassas. I would chose it over the others.

Bottle @ Sao Paulo Airport. Mild malty aroma and flavour. Amber colour. Quite smooth. A bit bland.

Bottle Garota de Itauna Saquarema (RJ) Pours golden with medium off-white head. Sweetish aroma. High carbonation. malty with some bitterness in finish. My preference in the Devassa line and in Brazil, thank goodness for Devassa.

Not bad. Not memorable. Fairly good light to medium flavored red ale.Tastes bitter hops in the end. Notes of caramel and fruits present mostly.

Med amber color. Light body with some caramel flavors. Not bad per se and very refreshing. Could see wanting to drink this in the sun in Brazil. Worth a shot if avaialbe.
