Cerveja escura, amargor discreto e leve. Praticamente um chopp escuro. Um pouco melhor que as cevejas escuras mais comerciais.

Bottle @ home. Thanks, John. Brown in color with a khaki head. Sweet caramel and a lot of toasted malts. Slightly oxidized and some dark fruits. The flavor has a bunch of cardboard to it, but some good roast, toast, and caramel. Nice dark fruits. A little oxidized.

UPDATED: DEC 15, 2014 355ml bottle served in a weizen. A: Pours a dark brown clear color forming a medium bubbled tan head. Medium retention and some lacings left S: Smells mainly roasted malts and caramel T: Roasted malts, caramel. Notes of citric hops. Very mild bitterness. In overall a crispy dry taste. Not bad if compared with the majority of the Brazilian dark ales M: Light watery body. Good carbonation. Mild roasted aftertaste O: Good drinkability but not a big deal [ BA Review @ 8/7/2012 ]

Muito cremosa a espuma e aroma forte. Espuma castanha clara, bem formada. Aroma lupulado, doce metálico. Muito bom. Cor castanho escuro opaco. Seca, forte malte torrado. Bem dentro do estilo

355 ml bottle in Belem. 4.8%  Schwarzbier Clear red-brown but so dark as to be opaque in the glass.  Weak head but some spotty lacing.  FEEL: Light-medium body with lively, medium-high carbonation.   smell: toffee; medium dark and dark roasted malts.   Taste: nearly as good as the aroma.  Has more dark roast, especially in the aftertaste. Some chocolate as well.  Lightly bitter aftertaste.

Bottled 355ml. -at Pizza Pronta fast food on Recife airport. Almost black coloured, medium sized beige head, touch of caramel and metal in the nose. Sweet malty, caramel and light cardboard with sugary and nuttyy notes in the finish. Not bad but a bit too sweet.

A little bit of a coca-cola aroma. This has a flavor of some spice I don’t like. Ginger maybe. It’s not sweet, but it’s also not good.

Bottled in Bahia. Dark pour, some light maltiness and very very mild bitters. Not bad for a change of pace in Brazil.

On tap @ Devassa Ipanema. Pours clear, almost black with small creamy light brown head. Aroma of herbal hops and light roasted malt. Taste is refreshing grainy and citrusy with light roasty backbone and liquorice. Medium body, creamy texture and fizzy natural carbonation in palate. Fresh spritzy and tasty brew...
