Clear medium yellow orange colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, grapefruit, light spruce. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120503]

Cask conditioned handpump The Pub Leicester 20/07/12. A golden beer with a white bubbly head. Fruity hops with bitter oranges. A touch of sweetness. Notes of marmalade. Pretty tasty.

Hand pulled at the Post Office Vaults, Birmingham. Golden ale, with a marked blend of UK and US hop notes. Hard edged bitterness from the UK, fresh citrus from the US. A touch of water, but otherwise a refreshing Summer ale.

Chelmsford Beer Festival. Light haze on this gold beer. Residual suddy white head. Light dry palate. Nice orange peel citrus and marmalade. Semi dry finish. Bitter marmalade in the aftertaste.

Cask@Reading Beer Festival 2012. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, yeasty, earthy and some dull malts. Flavour is fruity, floral and grassy hops with some sweet maltyness. Semi mouthdrying palate.

Cask conditioned at Coventry Beer Fest ’12. Gold with white head. This was really very pleasant, there was a sharp, fruity bitterness, full of grapefruit, lemon, some sweet apple, lots of depth and really quite palate tickling, buzzy notes in fact a real beer buzz with this. Good stuff.

On gravity at the Factoberfest, The Tobacco factory, Bristol 17/09/2011. Gold with a trace of a white head. Light, citrus hop and biscuit malt aroma. Fruity flavour with some solid malts and dryish finish. Ok.

Cask, Criterion, Leicester. Hazy gold with an off-white foam. Aromas are biscuit malts with lemon and stewed apple. Caramel with some woody, lightly musty notes. Flavours are light biscuit malts with lemon and honey. Floral with woody notes and yeast. Stewed apple and pear with a peppery finish. It’s OK.
