COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Special. Also available bottled.
The original Devilfish secret. Only 72 bottles of this were made and never sold – just for the brewers this one. But word got out so we dusted down the recipe with some reluctance…
Tastes: Full of flavour, malty, fruity, strong aromas and a lovely deep finish.
Looks: Dark brown and rich.

Cask (gravity dispense) at Egham Beer Festival on 20 August 2011. Dark ruby colour. Lots of caramel and fruity malt in the aroma. More caramel in the flavour. Not a huge hop presence. Smooth, quite soft mouthfeel. Perfectly competent but not really my thing.

cask at reading ... dark red brown .. soft mellow roast malt ... soft roast nose ... mellow toffee malts .. juicy and fruity ... quite simple but nice
