COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular. Also available bottled.
Originally created for the Royal Wedding as WNK (Will N Kate) yet proved so popular that it’s now a permanent ale. Among a hoppy range, this is the hoppiest!
Tastes: Citrus flavour shines through with a smooth aftertaste from the caragold malt – very sessionable.
Looks: Golden on the eye.

Cask@Pigs Ear Beer Festival 2011. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is mild floral and nectary notes with some slight bready malts as well. Flavour is being quite much the same. Very basic golden ale.

Cask-conditioned at the Robin Hood, Bristol 18/02/2012. Deep gold with a slight white head. Marmalade, hedgerow fruit and grassy hop aroma. Biscuity malt flavour, with more juicy citrus fruit and a lingering bitter finish. Very good.

Chewy malty body, a bit yeasty, slight lactic tang, a little citrus and peach. Grainy finish.

Gravity cask at the Wandsworth Halloween Festival 2011. Pours deep gold with a fluffy, white head. Classic aroma, crunchy grains, straw, hay, light dirt. Very nice flavor, lightly sweet, toasted grains, mild citrus, burnt straw, toasty bread. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Clean, fairly bitter finish, light sandy earth, straw, citrus, grains. Excellent golden ale.

Cask (handpump) at Egham Beer Festival on 20 August 2011. Another new brewery for me and another promising introduction. Hazy darkish gold colour. Loose but lasting white head. Good condition. Very citric on the palate. Clean mouthfeel with decent bite makes for a refreshing experience.
