This medium-bodied beer is a reddish-amber colour, with floral citrus hop aromas leading to full malt and hop flavours, underscored by a toasted malt backbone.

Cask@theroyaltiger, wednesfield. Reddish amber with small head and good lacing. Aroma of dry malts. Taste is dry leaves, malts, a touch of citrus and dry hops. Medium bodied. I am not a fan of amber ales, but this one was quite good.

Cask at Square Peg, Brum. My new home. I donít feel safe. All the bar staff are 7ft. Itís heaving in here. Cheap. I donít think Iíd thrive in a prison environment. Lots of old ppl and fluorescent jackets. My goodness itís cheap though - have I mentioned that? 2 halves have broken the seal; want more now. This beer (meanwhile) is OK. Some discernible hopping, but still lacks any discernible US hop flavour. Maybe when I burp Iíll appreciate the flavours a bit more. The mouthfeel of many of these fest beers is poor. Boring finish here too. Get out of my house.

Dark amber with fast-settling off-white head. Piney hoppy nose with hints of dark marmalade and caramel. Rich and malty-sweet yet with an immediate hop bite and a lingering bitter and marmalade finish.
