Bottle shared at Paul’s housewarming tasting 2013. Pours a golden body with white lacing. Aroma is sweet spice, grain and malt. Mouthfeel is medium with notes of sweet grain, caramel malt, spice and not too much else. This wasn’t particularly bad, but pretty bland overall.

Sampled at CBC 2013 and a few times after. Golden pour with a nice khaki head. Light aroma, a hint of rye spice and bread, mixes well with doughy pale malts and a touch of floral and spicy hops. Nice flavor, light, hints of rye bread meld well with spicy hops and pale malts. Tasty.

22 oz. bottle shared with the group via nimbleprop. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head after some agitation. The aroma and flavor have sweet grains, hints of spicy rye but not strong, doughy malt with mild bitterness at the finish.

Aroma is stale biscuit, rye, and crisp champagne. Pours deep but clear amber with nice carbonation and little film. Taste is very bohemien pilsner with good rye and sourdough notes on top of a clean champagne yeast. Clean and boring.

Bottle shared at Paul’s housewarming tasting. Pours a clear gold with a thin white head. Soft sweet grain with a touch of candy sugar. Medium bodied, grain and sweet caramel. Chewy grain, lots of sweetness and grain. Soft bitterness and grain on the finish. Decent enough I guess.

Alehousedave provided this rarity at an impromptu Tuesday night tasting... Thanks buddy!! Cool chatting about things. The brew is polished golden.. good white head with nice spotty lacing... The nose is very balanced between lite pale/hints of caramal malts and equally lite citrus hoppiness. The flavor mirrors the aromas but a distinct rye component jumps out... so does something that I associate with "corn"... not DMS... but corn... weird, but tasty. Body is light with a good bubble. Super glad I go the chance to try this one.... Thanks Dave!! 3.5/3.5/3.75/3.75/3.75
