hazy hay lemon color, thin white ring. Nose is dirty wheat and stable, soft lacto dominates light plastic underneath. Lacto cereal sugars at front palate, sweet mid is ins of lemon, pale biscuit through lightly punchy, jowl clenching finish. Balanced and no off notes, if simplistic.

Keg @ Mellow Mushroom C’ville. The pour’s hazy gold with a tiny white head. The nose is fairly faint. A bit of lactic sourness, citrus, ribbon candy. Mild sugary sweetness. The taste is pear, honeyed apple. Biting sour finish. Pretty dry. Light body, fine carbonation. A solid Berliner.

GABF 2013. Pours a hazy very light yellow appearance with a thin white head. Kind of bland, lemon aroma with a bit of stomach acid. Lemon, vanilla, light lacto, tangy flavor. Not bad though there seemed to be a touch of butyric acid in the nose.

Tap at Max’s. Pours hazy yellow with a small, fizzy white head, short retention with spare lacing. Aroma is lemon, lactic acid, and spicy wheat malt. Flavor is tart and lactic lemon, spicy wheat malt and a dry finish. Light body and medium carbonation.

Draft: Overripe lemon, melon rind nose. Cloudy golden, thin head. Overripe lime and melon rind flavor. Thin body. Not very sour when compared with other examples of the style, although the tartness improves upon warming.

4oz pour at Meridian Pint. Poured a cloudy, yellow color with a small, dissipating head. Aroma was light funk. Flavor was some light malts, touch of grain, some tartness in there. Refreshing.

Aromas of fresh lemon, wild flowers, and cracker. Hazy straw with a fully fading head. Dry, tart, savory, and lemony. Light, crisp, and very refreshing.

Draft. Pours clear gold with a white head. Light aroma with lemony and wheaty notes. The flavor has some lemony lactic tartness on a wheaty base with some light fruity notes. Not bad.
