Growler filled at the brewery on 9/19 and opened on 9/22/10. Pours a hazy reddish brown color with a large tan head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of leafy green hops, pale nutty malts and a faint bit of chocolate. The taste is bitter leafy, citrus and tropical hop notes with a mildy malty finish and a faint bit of chocolate. Very bitter, medium bodied and quite drinkable. Nice beer.

Tap. My favorite of the bunch and the one I got seconds of. Almost amber with a white head. Piney herbally aroma. Sour then bitter and herbal. Finish not as long as some. Reminds me of Campari, my favorite liqueur.

Draft at the brewpub. Poured copper orange.  Nice cloying sticky feel.  Drinks with an acidic fruit and wet mash appeal.  Really good.  (#4272, 10/3/2011)
