3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap at Churchkey for SAVOR week. Pours a clear bourbon amber with a small head forming. No lace. Grenadine nose with butterscotch. Taste is sweeter with dark cherries, oil, sugar, bananas foster with a little bit of egg like a roti dessert in Thailand. Comes across as richer and spicy. Heavy palate. In a small dose, it is quite nice. But probably too heavy in larger samples.

The taste is also very spicy with lots of cinnamon, anise, brown sugar, molasses. Lots of fruitiness as well with raisins, cherries, plum. Thin-medium bodied. Soft carbonation. Not the brewery’s best Belgian style effort, but decent nonetheless.
