This pale bronze beer is medium in body with intense hop flavor and aroma. Our IPA is brewed in the style of the “west coast” with robust hop character coming from American grown varieties of hops. IPA’s are amongst the most popular craft brewed beers as they have moderate strength and tons of flavor. This is not your Grandfathers beer! 5.9% alcohol by volume, 60 IBUs

A great tasting IPA. The hops were well represented without being in your face. I love a good IPA and I will admit that I’m still warming up to them. This is one I could, and will, have again.

Medium gold pour with a full finger head that dissipates. Aroma is light, medium hops, light citrus an resin. Flavor is much healthier, with a crisp hop character up front, grapefruit notes as well as other citrus. Mild malt sweetness in the back. Light-medium body with nice glass lacing

I thought this one was pretty solid. Light, refreshing and bitter. Pine is the dominant flavor from the hops. It’s very crisp as well. Sessionable if you go that route, and I do. Good example of west coast style american IPA.

Bottle. Creamy white head (good retention) on a clear golden rust orange. Citrusy and grapefruit hops that stand out, but are fairly restrained, some grassiness as well and very clean aroma. Clean and clear grapefruit and slight pine flavors, crackery maltiness, and devoid of sweetness. Lighter to medium body with solid carbonation. Always happy to have another solid, fresh IPA from the region that I can access easily. Solid stuff

Nice slightly hazy copper coloured body with a nice thick, two centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of pungent and grassy hops with a grapefruit and distinct resiny smell, tucked in with some nice malt and a good bit of discernible alcohol notes. Medium-bodied; Assertive piney and floral hop notes at first with a resiny finish all with a good malt backbone and a very grassy/floral finish. Aftertaste is a bit more well-rounded with the malt coming through a bit more, some alcohol notes as well and a little barnyardie funk as well. Overall, a very well done IPA - not perfect, but a very good beer and a nice offering from Virginia - very nice to have it here in the state. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Total Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 23-May-2012 for US$9.99/6pack, sampled at home in Washington on 17-July-2012.

Drank at Brew at the Zoo 2012. Very solid IPA, especially for 5.9%, nice amount of bitterness, nearly a little more would have made it great.

Light floral nose, light caramel and honey. Light to moderately sweet, moderately bitter, some citrus and pine, light honey and cookie dough. Decent.

12oz bottle pours a bright orange with some clumpy white head. Nose is mild, citrus, pine, honey. Flavor is better, citrus, pine, honey, flowers. Medium bodied, dry, lightly chalky finish. Good.

355mL. Clear orange pour with low carbonation and decently rocky, off-white head. Mega floral hoppy nose. Taste is rich honey, caramel, toffee, mega Brazil nut bitterness. Really nice stuff. Wow. No astringency. Soft delicious palate. Very impressive. Will be picking up another sixer of this.

Bottle @ Dan’s house, courtesy of arminjewell. Thanks Armin. Golden orange appearance with an off white head. Somewhat spicy, herbal, grassy, light lemon aroma. Herbal, grassy, a bit minty, lemon citrusy, light grapefruity hoppy, earthy, fairly fun beer.
