3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Golden pour into the glass, with a nice frothy head that retains well, leaving thick lace. The nose is of piney bitters. Flavors are of citrus, lemon and orange, with a nice pine hopped back to finish. The body is medium providing an extremely easy quaff. The mouthfeel is soft, making for a very nice IPA sessionista.

3.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
This was a good and hoppy beer. Somewhat thick with a good punch of flavor that stuck to the palate. Not too alcoholic like some beers in this style. Easy to drink.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Citrusy, piney, resinous, and floral hop aromas. Gold, with low retaining, white head. Predominantly bitter, but well-balanced and lifted by malty tones that come through at the end. Medium-full bodied, with average carbonation, and a long, bitter finish.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Ar: Lots of mango and orange, very juicy and round - a touch of toasted malt.
Ap: Crystal-clear gold - medium off-white head with moderate retention and a thin sticky coat of foam remains.
T: Bright citrus and mango with a firm bitterness - some sweetness and grainy malt - bitterness takes on some black tea astringency, though only a little - lingering lemon, mango, and pineapple.
P: Medium-light body with high carbonation - finish is very dry.
O: A bright, fresh, and light colored IPA - really showcases hop flavor and aroma, and the mango is a nice component - delicious and supremely drinkable!

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Aggressive bitterness and some pleasant pine notes, but not enough citrus presence for my liking. Still, a solid beer.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Strong aromas of American IPA -- some citrus, bready malts, and a little pine. Solid IPA.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz bottle split with Anndiesel. Slightly hazy orange-tan body, steady creamy white head. A really solid IPA which remains sessionable, I’m really impressed. Grassy, straw dry hop character, some melon in there too, not one-dimensional. I’d be really happy to serve or drink this as a house IPA.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A golden IPA with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, classic pungent piney hops with smooth biscuit malt. In mouth, a nice crisp biscuit malt with good floral and pungent hops, nice and smooth. On tap at Time Out Wings, Herndon, VA, Oct. 12 2012.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Location: Draft at the Brewpub, 11/21/12
Aroma: This one has a floral hop nose with some pine and citrus notes as well
Appearance: It has a gold colored pour with a lasting white head and coating white lace
Flavor: Component-wise, the flavor is much like the nose, it is light sweet and medium-plus bitter
Palate: This one has a light-medium body, with a little dryness, and a crisp, clean finish
Overall, this is a pretty classic, and fairly well-made example of an IPA. Quite solid and enjoyable. It is not a top-of-style IPA, but this is still a very solid one.

This seems like a good entry level IPA. Medium bodied, good hops character. First beer I’ve tried from Virginia.
