This pale bronze beer is medium in body with intense hop flavor and aroma. Our IPA is brewed in the style of the “west coast” with robust hop character coming from American grown varieties of hops. IPA’s are amongst the most popular craft brewed beers as they have moderate strength and tons of flavor. This is not your Grandfathers beer! 5.9% alcohol by volume, 60 IBUs

A golden IPA with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, classic pungent piney hops with smooth biscuit malt. In mouth, a nice crisp biscuit malt with good floral and pungent hops, nice and smooth. On tap at Time Out Wings, Herndon, VA, Oct. 12 2012.

Location: Draft at the Brewpub, 11/21/12

Aroma: This one has a floral hop nose with some pine and citrus notes as well
Appearance: It has a gold colored pour with a lasting white head and coating white lace
Flavor: Component-wise, the flavor is much like the nose, it is light sweet and medium-plus bitter
Palate: This one has a light-medium body, with a little dryness, and a crisp, clean finish
Overall Impression: Overall, this is a pretty classic, and fairly well-made example of an IPA. Quite solid and enjoyable. It is not a top-of-style IPA, but this is still a very solid one.

This seems like a good entry level IPA. Medium bodied, good hops character. First beer I’ve tried from Virginia.

12 oz bottle from RABinVA. Pours a hazy orange/gold with a one finger white head. Good head retention with an incredible amount of lace and foam. Coats the glass. Citrus and grassy hop aroma with a semi sweet background. Flavor is sweet up front with earthy hops mid palate. Well balanced. Medium bodied with a bitter finish. Not much differant than a hundred other well done IPAs, but enjoyable none the less.

Mostly gold pour with a white head. Spicy and herbal hops, grass and light honeyed malts. Flavor is smooth and not overly bitter. Juicy but a nice hop profile v

Citrus aroma pours with a small vanilla colored head. Crisp initial taste with a strong finish and overall enjoyable in smaller quantities

12ozpoured into a pint glass. Pours a clear orange-golden color. Aromas of piny hops also get some citrus. Bitterness apparent. Hop favors are accented in this beer. Not as much malt balance as I like. Easy to drink. Mouthfeel a little light for my taste. A decent IPA

12 oz bottle - pours clear gold-orange with nice, medium fluffy white head with serious lacing. Aromas of lemon, citrus, orange and cool melon on the noses. Medium-crisp bodied, touch of malt backbone, with a nicely bitter peppery finish, quite dry. Solid IPA.
