3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours clear pale amber with a large white creamy head that slowly dissipates with nice lacing. Quite a pungent aroma, citrus, mango, hemp, cat piss. Dank is a good word. Flavor is about the same, more subdued than aroma. Not much sweetness, medium bitterness, a bit spicy perhaps - rye? Quite light bodied.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured from 12 oz. bottle.
Clear, bright amber with 3-finger yellow-cream head and excellent lacing.
Intense aroma of pine, citrus, bread and herbal hops.
Taste of pine, resin, floral hops, citrus and fruit with a bitter, herbal hop finish. A little fruity sweetness adds a modicum of balance, but very little malt flavor creeps through the bitter hops.
Medium body and high carbonation.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
The color is a golden yellow-orange that is bright and inviting, with only a thin white film of a head because of an overly-generous pour, but the beer leaves a great amount of lacing on the glass as I emptied it. The aroma is very muted but good, with a light fruity, fresh citrus hop character being most pronounced. The flavor is more assertive, with some pine, a little citrus, and an earthy bitterness in the finish. This beer has a great mouthfeel, with a resinous, substantial body that lets the flavor linger in the finish. Overall, this is a fairly commonplace IPA without any special characteristics, but it is solid.
