This pale bronze beer is medium in body with intense hop flavor and aroma. Our IPA is brewed in the style of the “west coast” with robust hop character coming from American grown varieties of hops. IPA’s are amongst the most popular craft brewed beers as they have moderate strength and tons of flavor. This is not your Grandfathers beer! 5.9% alcohol by volume, 60 IBUs

Poured from the tap into a pint glass at the Hooters in Chester, VA. Aroma- Has a strong hop aroma with some citrus tossed in. Appearance- Pours a fairly clear golden color with a large white head. Taste- A real big hop flavor with some malt added. Palate- A medium bodied beer with moderate to heavy carbonation, has a big hop finish. Overall- This is a good example of a very hoppy IPA, i enjoyed it.

Bottle from local grocer here in Ashburn VA. Color is a lightish translucent hue.. Aroma is spruce infused with a decent punch of hops.. Initial taste is hoprageous with a subtle bitterness aided by some heavy hops. Crisp and slightly dry on the tongue it doesnt linger long. Solid brew.. Its missing that second barrage of flavors that most Cali brewed brews have ( I know this isnt brewed in Cali but they apparently base its flavoring on that type of IPA). Its like a girl that looks good in the bar, you have fun with but then realize maybe youre better as friends! Like it, dont love it but solid.

12oz bottle from Mom. Golden brown/dark orange hue with mostly diminishing white fizzy head. Good lacing. Citrus hop and malt aromas. Light bitter orange hop and malt up front with more of a malt finish. I thought this was a straight forward very drinkable IPA. Three went down just fine.

Bottle from State Line Liquor. Nice IPA. Pours clear, filtered, copper with a moderate off-white head. Nose is sweet caramel, piney hops. Mouth is prickly piney hops. Taste is also sweet malt. Finish is very bitter. Mouth is prickly and carbonated. Overall, a decent, well balanced IPA.

Bottle from a collaboration Adventure Pack. Pours a a clean golden orange with a small off white head. Nice scent of pine, resin, and hops. Pine, resin, and hop bitterness with a little grapefruit taste. A little flat, but has a creamy smooth finish. Nice effort, but their lagers are so much better.

Very solid IPA, I like anything that this brewery does. Not much on the aroma, you pick up the hops with a solid malt backbone. Finishes nicely on the palate.

On tap at Brasserie Brightwell in Easton, MD. Dull hop aroma, stale hop flavor, vaguely sweet malts, dry. This wasn’t very good.

12oz bottle thanks to nimbleprop, pours a pale copper/orange with a large off-white head. Aroma is sweet, dry caramel malt and mild fruity hop spice. Light caramel malt and mild hop. A well balanced mild easy drinking IPA.

Pretty good; nothing over the top or exceptional. Aroma is mostly pine with some citrus notes. Taste is pine with some hidden hop character. Finish is a bit bitter with a great malt backbone to back up the hops. Nice job.

From Nate as part of a Christmas gift sampler. Clear amber golden with a smallish head. A pine and citrus is not big but is pretty nice. First sip is quite bitter. Spicy bitterness more than grapefruit. But grapefruit is in here and grows with warming. There is some herbal and resin aspect to them that is akin to unripened fruit. Biscuits. I would like to see more complexity in the hops and less IBUs. Its close to being very good.
