This pale bronze beer is medium in body with intense hop flavor and aroma. Our IPA is brewed in the style of the “west coast” with robust hop character coming from American grown varieties of hops. IPA’s are amongst the most popular craft brewed beers as they have moderate strength and tons of flavor. This is not your Grandfathers beer! 5.9% alcohol by volume, 60 IBUs

FROM NOTES: August 23, ’12. From a 12 ounce bottle into a shaker pint glass. A: Not a strong nose, but earthy and grassy hops with just a bit of pine and a touch of sweet malt. A: Pours a clear orange-tinted amber with two fingers of off-white head. Good retention with some decent lacing. T: Piney, resiny and slight grapefruit upfront, finishes with a bit of sweetness and very little aftertaste. P: The body is a light medium, with a moderate carbonation. O: Reminds me of DFH 60-M. A very solid flavorful everyday IPA.

Bottle pour..fairly fresh bottled 10/2/13..light golden color..small head and amount of carbonation..hop aroma is best part going on with noticeable catty presence..mouthfeel is a bit thin with obvious bitter notes..and doesn’t live up to the nice hop aroma..a pretty tasty single ipa however..glad to be able to get more offerings from db..

Pretty good IPA. Not sure what the hop profile is, but it had a bit of spice to it. Overall worth trying. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma of grassy and fruity hops, quite pleasant. Mango, papaya and apricot. Some spices on the nose too. Pours a reddish gold with soapy off white head. Little lacing. Tastes of sweet fruits, not much bitterness. Strawberries, peaches, mango, and grass with dull bitterness. Palate is watery but not overly carbonated. Overall, a fruity ipa with little bitterness, decent.

Draft at Brewpub. Pours copper with white head, good lacing. Nose is citrus - orange lemon and grapefruit with some herbal notes. Bitter and floral up front, with piney notes lingering with a mild bitter. Enjoyable.

Bottle. "Boned" on: 07/08/13. A slightly hazy copper pour with a thick beige head. Pine, oranges, grapefruits, zesty citrus rinds, brown sugar, and caramel feature prominently in the aroma. Grains become much more apparent with a little warmth. A relatively thin palate. Fairly watery. The taste starts with a touch of wheat and some sweet graininess. Kinda biscuity in the middle. Oranges, grapefruits, and plenty of bitter rinds at the end. Hints of spice throughout. Overrated.
