Citrusy, piney, resinous, and floral hop aromas. Gold, with low retaining, white head. Predominantly bitter, but well-balanced and lifted by malty tones that come through at the end. Medium-full bodied, with average carbonation, and a long, bitter finish.

Appearance: clear golden bronze with a finger of bubbly white head. Aroma: citrus (grapefruit, blood orange), apricot, and mango, with a doughy caramel malt undertone. Taste: slightly juicy bitter citrus hops up front, medium caramel and toffee throughout. Finish: dry and balanced. Notes: This is a fine IPA that suffers only by comparison to all the amazing IPAs that already exist. It’s fine for what it is. It also suffers from it’s proclamation that it’s a West Coast style IPA. I found it more similar to a Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA, altough not quite as good. Bottle from Kevin at work.

12oz bottle from Ed5388, thanks stretch. Poured a clear deep orange/amber with a smaller quick and total fading off white head. Aroma is ok, notes of dough, biscuits, amber and caramel malts, grassy hops and slight citrus. Flavor is like the aroma. Medium body with softer to average carbonation. Nothing special here.

Poured from tap way too cold. Pours a clear gold/orange with 1 finger head. Moderately hoppy on nose, resin, some citrus. Taste follows suit but more resin than citrus on palate, nice middle of caramel and bready malt, then back to hops for medium finish.

Light golden pour with white head. Lemon grassy hop aroma. Taste: plenty of citrus bitter, sweet honey malt. Piney finish.

Bottle shared by PinkZambia Clear golden orange wit a small off white head. Bitter weird funky hop aroma and some light sweet maltiness. Decent hop flavor but just seems off. Just OK

Bottle: Super clear with a funky egg aroma. Semi-hoppy aroma with a lame attempt for flavor. If you’re an east coast brewery announcing you are making a west coast IPA, something may be wrong.

Golden pale yellow, quickly diminished head and lacing. Tart, sharp bitterness up front. Piney, citrus, grapefruit, woody. $9.99/multi sixer at Wegmans Leesburg VA

mile (3346) - Helsinki, FINLAND - APR 23, 2015
Bottle. Golden, small to average and fully diminishing head. Moderate, malty - lightly grainy and sweetish aroma, light caramel and tropical fruitiness with light notes of vegetables/barn-yard, piney hoppyness. Body is medium, malty and lightly sweetish flavor, light caramel and tropical fruitiness, some piney - light grapefruit hoppyness. Finish is average, malty - lightly grainy and lightly sweetish, light caramel and tropical fruitiness with faint notes of vegetables, piney - light grapefruit hoppynes, faint alcohol. IPA with faint notes of vegetables in aroma/finish. Bit too sweet/too much caramel - could use more bitterness to balance caramel and sweetness.

Poured from the tap into a pint glass at the Hooters in Chester, VA. Aroma- Has a strong hop aroma with some citrus tossed in. Appearance- Pours a fairly clear golden color with a large white head. Taste- A real big hop flavor with some malt added. Palate- A medium bodied beer with moderate to heavy carbonation, has a big hop finish. Overall- This is a good example of a very hoppy IPA, i enjoyed it.

Bottle from local grocer here in Ashburn VA. Color is a lightish translucent hue.. Aroma is spruce infused with a decent punch of hops.. Initial taste is hoprageous with a subtle bitterness aided by some heavy hops. Crisp and slightly dry on the tongue it doesnt linger long. Solid brew.. Its missing that second barrage of flavors that most Cali brewed brews have ( I know this isnt brewed in Cali but they apparently base its flavoring on that type of IPA). Its like a girl that looks good in the bar, you have fun with but then realize maybe youre better as friends! Like it, dont love it but solid.
