This pale bronze beer is medium in body with intense hop flavor and aroma. Our IPA is brewed in the style of the “west coast” with robust hop character coming from American grown varieties of hops. IPA’s are amongst the most popular craft brewed beers as they have moderate strength and tons of flavor. This is not your Grandfathers beer! 5.9% alcohol by volume, 60 IBUs

Really enjoyed this beer while on vacation in Shenandoah National Park, VA. Great tasting, hoppy & bitter. And surprisingly for an IPA, there was not too much alcohol. Overall, love this beer!

Spruce aroma and hop flavor. Very well "balanced" ipa. Palate leaves you wanting another and another and another.

A great tasting IPA. The hops were well represented without being in your face. I love a good IPA and I will admit that I’m still warming up to them. This is one I could, and will, have again.

I liken this beer to the white water IPA from Boston beer co. Not as bitter maybe stronger bodied. I am biased as these are both favorites in my household. They are bitter beers with a depth of flavors at the same time they manage to be refreshing and clean.

Love the taste and and hoppy character coupled with a low ABV. It’s not often you find the two together.

What a great IPA. Pours a light Amber or a dark yellow. Delicious hoppy flavor with a sharp aftertaste.

Citrusy, piney, resinous, and floral hop aromas. Gold, with low retaining, white head. Predominantly bitter, but well-balanced and lifted by malty tones that come through at the end. Medium-full bodied, with average carbonation, and a long, bitter finish.

Beer pours a clear golden amber color with a nice rocky head. Grapefruit, melon aroma. Perhaps a bit resiny. Crisp bitter flavor finishes clean. Malty backbone is present, but subtle.

Transfer from BA review on 9-9-12- Poured from bottle into pint glass Appearance – Pours a medium golden color with a huge, just off-white head. The head is thick and beautiful and has wonderful retention. It eventually fades however to give a great level of lacing. Smell – The smell was a wonderfully sweet and lightly hopped smell. The sweetness was of a nice mango aroma mixed with caramel and some citrus. The hop aromas were of an earthy and grapefruit aroma, which complemented the sweet quite well. Taste – The taste begins with a bready and very lightly caramel sweetened base. At the start there are hop flavors of an earthy and pine nature. As the taste advances toward the middle a grapefruit hop flavor combines with the earthy and pine hops. This bready and hop flavor takes the taste to its finish. In the end a very long lasting bitter earthy and pine hop flavor are left to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The beer is very chewy with a nice creaminess and a slightly below average carbonation level. The creaminess and chewiness is great for the bready and hop flavors and makes for a great feeling brew. Overall – While the nose is deceiving in its sweetness, it is a very nice feeling bitter IPA. The hop aftertaste is one of the longest lingering I have had for such a low abv brew and is rather pleasant. A very nice IPA.
