COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This pale bronze beer is medium in body with intense hop flavor and aroma. Our IPA is brewed in the style of the “west coast” with robust hop character coming from American grown varieties of hops. IPA’s are amongst the most popular craft brewed beers as they have moderate strength and tons of flavor. This is not your Grandfathers beer! 5.9% alcohol by volume, 60 IBUs

Clear pale gold. Light citric hop aroma. Flavor was clean malts, a touch of biscuit, and a citric, grapefruit hop finish. Tight and clean, nicely done. The fact that my wife ordered a pint of this as opposed to the wit is indicative of just how well done this was. Her favorite beer of the trip, and my favorite at the brewery as well.

Clear amber appearance with an average size white head and good lacing. Spicy, resinous hop aroma paired with bready malts. Taste is more hop focused, with pine and citrus characteristics, but a bit lower on the IBU scale. Medium bodied, well carbonated mouthfeel. Nicely rounded flavors and a relatively modest abv could make this a good session beer.

Pours a fair copper with a fair white head. Aroma is nice and hoppy, citrus and pine. Great IPA flavor, only slightly watered down. Nice aftertaste.

Draft at Ironwood. Pours orange with a thin white head. Slight pine sol note on the nose. There’s some bitterness in the finish. There’s more floral piney notes on the tongue. Flavorful but imbalanced.

Pizzeria Paradiso, Alexandria tap ($6): Pours a light copper colour with a white head. Aroma is piny hops with a sufficient malt backing. Taste is somewhat bitter. Although this is west coast in character, it is hardly what I would call "west coast" in terms of intensity. It is perfectly drinkable and thankfully, it is not too bitter, so it is rather refreshing. In either case, this is a forgettable IPA.

12 oz. bottle from a shaker. Pours a nice, light golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is peppery and citrusy. Taste has a nice, robust hop character. Overall very bitter and a bit citrusy. Lacking somewhat in malt definition.

To me this one is just a standard east coast ipa. Nothing at all stood out to me. Medium to low hoppiness, bland malt bill. Others liked it though.

Lemon zest and lillies on the nose. Crystal clear amber, medium head, nice lace. Overripe orange and marigold flavor. Quite bitter, a little hot. Good combination of citrus and floral hops.

Pours a clear golden colour with a white head. Aroma is quite hoppy with floral hops and pine along with citrus notes. Taste is also hoppy, with some citrus, other fruits and earthy tones coming through leading to a dry bitter finish. Pretty good although maybe a little too dry and bitey for my taste.

Pours yellow with a dense 1/2" head. Nice aroma of aromatic malt, grassy hops. Nice smooth palate, good amount of hops without being overly bitter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tulip snifter from bottle. A: very aromatic, smells of simcoe and a couple other hops, but has an awkward hint of cat dung, in complete seriousness. App: brought golden color, frothy white head the distresses in a lengthy process. T: very top hopped, no real complexity, simple to the point hopping, not too light but far from overwhelming in a bad way. Not nearly the ipa one may expect from an american ipa. P: very nice , bubbly yet smooth, lengthy after taste of sweetend hops.
