Draft at GABF 2013. Pale malt expressed as biscuits, crackers, faint sourdough bread. Yeast and water give is a mineral / vitamin smell to go with faint huskiness. Comparable to Full Sail Session Lager, which i also a little husky, mineraly and sometimes eggy / sulfuric. Medium high acid, frothy carbonation, enjoyable dryness with some lemon oil hop showing through after it warms a bit.

On draft in Shanendoah, pour was golden to orange, thin head. Aroma of caramel, corn/adjuncts, grains. The flavor followed, slight grassiness in there too, finishing a tad sweet, definitely not a clean dry lager. Like a Sammy Boston Lager, but I like the latter better. Mouthfeel was moderate to full, below average carbonation.

Aromas of biscuity malts, and earthy, floral hops. Pale gold, with quickly fading white head. Lightly sweet, lightly bitter, with some corn-like, adjunct flavors. Light body, low carbonation, and a bready finish.

Location: Draft at the Brewpub, 11/21/12

Aroma: It has a fairly light lager-style nose, with some malts, grains, and grass
Appearance: This beer pours into the glass a clear golden-white color with some medium lace
Flavor: The flavor is also pretty mild, a little bit sweet, this one has a light flavor, but a solid one
Palate: The body is fairly light, but it is not watery for style, and it has a fizzy carbonation to the finish
Overall Impression: While this was not a special beer, and I didn’t love it, I definitely found some things about it that I liked. It is an easy drinker with a nice feel. The nose is kind of dull, but it steps up a bit in the areas of taste and feel.

From tap at Churchkey. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, light cornish and grassy. Bitter, straw and grassy. Dry, grassy and bitter finish.

Serving: Draft. Straw colored pour with a stark white head. Light grain in a very light nose. Rather thin on the palate with notes of light grain and a touch of bitterness. Crafts’ version of light beer. Good lawnmower fare. On a hot day I could drink a pile of this and I think that’s the point.

Gift from Sj. Some earth, some hop, some grass and some spice. A bit thin for my taste and somewhat ordinary.

Grain and malt nose, wheaty. Crystal clear pale yellow, medium sticky head. Grain dominated flavor, tangy. Alcohol a little more noticeable than it should be. Menu at the brewpub lists this as a pilsner, but it seems more like a helles. Good.

Draft. Pours clear gold with a white head. Clean and grainy aroma. The flavor is clean and grainy with some light floral notes. Not bad.

This honestly has more in common with a macro than any sort of well made craft brew. Over carbonated, pee yellow coloring, no malt profile, no hop aroma, burns the throat like malt liquor........not impressed at all. How did this win TWO gold medals at GABF? I’m 0 for 2 with this brewpub.
