1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 HoppityHop (149) - USA - NOV 30, 2011
This honestly has more in common with a macro than any sort of well made craft brew. Over carbonated, pee yellow coloring, no malt profile, no hop aroma, burns the throat like malt liquor........not impressed at all. How did this win TWO gold medals at GABF? I’m 0 for 2 with this brewpub.

Gift from Sj. Some earth, some hop, some grass and some spice. A bit thin for my taste and somewhat ordinary.

Grain and malt nose, wheaty. Crystal clear pale yellow, medium sticky head. Grain dominated flavor, tangy. Alcohol a little more noticeable than it should be. Menu at the brewpub lists this as a pilsner, but it seems more like a helles. Good.

Crisp and clean, light grain and toast. Lightly sweet, very crisp, with a touch of grain. Clean and cool, super sessionable. Very nice stuff.
