Fresh growler from the brewery. Pours a dark, hazy ruby red color with a medium tan head Average head retention and lacing. Aroma is caramel, chocolate, bitter resin and citrus hop notes. Taste is more hop assertive than the aroma, with bitter pine and resin hop notes followed by light roast and chocolate. Thin-medium bodied. The beers don’t quite meld together that well, but this is interesting nonetheless.
