COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our first crack at using pear in brewing! This light bodied beer is a beautiful straw color and has a smooth crisp finish with a delicious and quenching pear flavor. A great easy-drinking beer thatís perfect to kick off the summer!

At the DC Craft Beer Festival. Poured a very pale light color, clear, virtually no head. Aroma was a lot of sweet pear, crisp lager. enjoyed last night. Flavor was sweet pear. Crisp lager. Easy to drink. Actually quite enjoyable to me.

Draft at brewery. Big pear aroma. Looks like cider. Taste is overly sweet, almost artificial. Slightly medicinal. Wouldnít want a fulll pint of this.

Aromas of pear, bread, and cotton candy. A clear, pinkish straw complexion, with a quickly fading head. Dry with flavors of fresh pears and bread. Light bodied, very clean.

Keg @ Devilís Backbone. The pourís light gold with a weak white head. The nose is general pale malt. Some pear and honeyed apple. The taste is quite sweet. Canned pear syrup. Mild grain. White bread. Light body, a bit slick on the palate. Overall, a bit sweet for my tastes.

Served on draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear very pale straw yellow. Medium sized creamy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of big pear notes with pale malts. The taste is pears, apples, pale grainy malts and a faint bitter finish. Very cider like. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, pretty drinkable.

On tap at Rustico Ballston. Served in a sampler glass. Pours a clear light golden color with a nice white head and a bit of lacing on the way down. The nose has subtle pear and a very, very light sugary tartness. Grain behind that. Flavor was smooth with mild fruit and a nice light maltiness in the background. Light body with good carbonation. Very refreshing.
