3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Served on draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear copper color with a large frothy tan head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of big citrus and resin hops. The taste is pine, resin, citrus hops, some melon notes as well, and caramel malts. Medium-full bodied, lingering bitterness.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Location: Draft at the Brewpub, 11/21/12
Aroma: This one has a pretty much on style citrus, pine, and resin hop nose
Appearance: It has a golden colored pour, with a creamy white head and some heavy lace
Flavor: The taste has a light sweetness, which is overrun by a pretty big bitterness component
Palate: This one has a pretty big/full body to it, with a smooth, creamy feel, and a soft carbonation
I found this venture into the IIPA category to be a good one. It feels right on style with a big time hop component. It isnít a world class level IIPA, but it is certainly on that next level of really good IIPAs. Nice stuff.
