COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This refreshing pale ale was created to be consumed while enjoying the bounty of the bay. Gold in color, light to medium in body, and a crisp finish with hints of citrusy American hop varieties.

Can. Pours clear golden with very excited but sparse carbonation and a medium sudsy off-white head. Nose is honestly more malt-present , touch of lemony citrus. Taste clean and clear, medium bitterness and very much like a Pils, snappy in its crispness, but too sweet and slightly metallic, too mineral-heavy and the chalky aspect is very off-putting. Hops themselves aren’t stale, really, but dank in the direction of spoiled. Medium-full body and just not enjoyable.

Bright amber/gold appearance with a large white head and very good lacing. Earthy, whole grain aroma dotted with herbal hops. Orchard-like flavors turn more bitter with a mild ciderish note in the aftertaste. Crisp, medium bodied, well carbonated mouthfeel with a lasting finish.

Transfer from BA review on 2-17-13- Poured from bomber into a pint glass Appearance – Pours a golden straw color with a two finger white head. The head fades very fast to leave only a very light level of lacing. Smell- The aroma is light overall with some toasted malt and a grainy smell. Mixed with these are some lighter notes of a citrus hop nature. Taste – The taste begins with a more dry bready flavor up front. There is light citrus hop very near the start which grows stronger at the middle only to fade more toward the end. While the citrus hop flavor diminished from the middle to the end, herbal and grassy hop flavors grow stronger on the tongue. In the end a crisp and lightly bittered grassy/herbal flavor are left on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the medium to light side with a carbonation level that is medium to slightly above medium. The mouthfeel couple with the flavors of the brew create a rather crisp and easy drinking beer. Overall - Nothing all that extraordinary here. Overall it is a decent APA with a more crisp taste and feel.

(12 oz can); amber color; citrusy, floral hop aroma; a very light, crisp, hoppy beer; almost pilsner-like malt; light malt but good hop flavor

Draft - Right balance of hops that is not overpowering yet you can still taste the bitterness from the hops. Not much sweetness, very little malt to balance out the hops. Lots of citrus flavor on this one. Kinda has a “water” taste to it.

Pours a clear golden yellow with a thick eggshell head that leaves heavy lacing. Malty, fruity aroma is rather sweet. Malty flavor has an overtone of woody hops that is slightly bitter. Texture is fizzy and fairly firm; you can feel it all the way down the hatch. Catch one!

Refreshing and very crisp, with some complexity from the hop and yeast combination. A little complex, enough to hold your interest, and medium weight and length on the palate.

6/22/14. Draft at Brew. Pours golden with a thin head. Very mild nose. Starts with malts dominating but the hops creep up. Not much of a citrus profile in the hops. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz can, which I’m pretty sure I got from Perfect Pour. Clear golden orange color. Off-white head, with good retention. Medium body. Smooth, kind of crisp, lighter carbonation. Lightly dry finish. Nice moderate to bigger bitter taste. Light kind of zesty sweet. Good citrusy hop aroma, light bit of pine, with a very clean bready malt bill. Solid, clean satisfying pale ale. Good one to enjoy with my Skyline.

Random light citrusy pale ale. Pours golden with ok head and lacing. Some light bitterness and citrus in finish. On tap at DC Summerfest in the VIP section I snuck into.
