golden with decent white head. flavor of yeasty esters with too large a degree of alcoholic warmth that becomes distracting. flavorful but flawed

Very happy to get to try something from these guys, handbottled courtesy of dkachur. Golden with a slight head. Smoky nose, little else there. Flavor was apricots, bubblegum, faint smoke and faint spice. Decent attempt at the style, smoke was likely a byproduct of the yeast or perhaps of some British style hops?

Handbottle from dkachur on 03/14/2009. Clear golden body with a small white head. Sweet honey and spice aroma. Sweet honey, spice, faint caramel and fruit flavor. Medium light body with moderate carbonation.

Pale yellow body with a yeasty,soapy aroma. Taste was not horrible but flat and soapy.

Light yellow body with a white head. Yeast and cheese aroma. Smooth taste, very nice for a Belgian, sweet and nicely floral. Ending is clean and smooth.

Growler from the brewery. Pours a clear golden color with lots of carbonation clinging to the side of the glass. Medium head with average head retention and fair lacing. Fruity aroma with big peach and pear notes as well as some bubblegum. Taste is also fruity with pear and pineapple notes as well as a touch of candi sugar. Full bodied with very soft carbonation.
