Sweet, too sweet, cloying despite being sub 5%. This beer has a diet soda taste as well.

Bottle. Appearance: very clear amber color, white head dissipating quickly. Aroma: bready, doughy, cerealy, some hints of caramel. Taste: all breadiness, cerealy light malts, maybe a slight grassy/herby hop presence at the end. Mouthfeel: relatively thin, little carbonation. Overall: not really my style; definitely more of an ale guy and I don’t have enough lager experience yet to get too critical...definitely drinkable...like a slightly more flavorful Yuengling which is my go to cheap beer.

Pilsner glass from bottle. A: very light, hints of various malts, and carmel. App: golden with a slight red hue. T: light to medium body ruth light character that has hints of carmel, sugar cane syrup, and heller hop in the middle and the back. P: very smooth and firm right bubbles that make it very crisp.

Nice toasted, caramel malt, nut and bread. A tad thin for my liking, but it was an easy, non offensive brew.
