3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at the brewpub last weekend.
Pours a clear copper color with a single-finger white head and a ring or two of lacing on the way down. The nose brings some slight notes of bread and caramel and a faint hop presence. The flavor is mostly bread crust and a touch of caramel with light hops toward the finish, providing a nice bitterness. Light body and good carbonation. Another winning lager.
Serving type: on-tap

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: APR 4, 2011 pours a dark orange with glints of red, topped with a bright white head. The nose is haylike, with subtle lemony notes. The dominant flavour is a biscuity maltiness, with toffee and bread. The finish is long and crisp, making this a wonderfully refreshing beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured into a pint glass from a growler. Malty bready aroma. No Hops detected. clear Deep copper. Plenty of head that doesn’t stick around. Moderate amount of lacing. Slightly sweet with the bitterness creeping in at the end. Medium to full mouth feel. Overall it is a very enoyable lager. This is the one that stood out for me in the sampler enough to want to take home in a growler.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft. Pours a nice amber color with a foamy white head. Malty nose with a hit of a metallic note. Medium-high carbonation with a light mouthfeel. Caramel, malt, and a metallic taste make up the palate. This one could be really enjoyable if it weren’t for the tin taste. Medium-short, malty finish. Very sessionable, but I think there are better Viennas out there.
