Rather tasty Vienna. Very easy to drink, too. Fresh notes of bread, toast, nuts, and a subtle, honey-like sweetness. Balanced hops offer notes of meadows and herbs. Delicate and really pleasant.

From a bottle to a pint. Huge foamy head which fades away...big malt presence... Toasted bread and roasted nuts... Easy drinking thirst quencher!

This is a hometown beer for me. Delicious. Great with ribs or sliced short rib sandwiches.

Vienna Style Lager… Devils Backbone Brewing Company. Pours light amber, immediate head that dissipates quickly and gives way to a pathetically thin layer of suds. Aroma is of generic beer… Malt and hops, bland aroma reminiscent of maybe 5 or 6 bucks a six-pack. If we are being perfectly honest I’m struggling to come up with any real description worth putting down on paper. It’s beer… at less than 5%. Devils Backbone makes plenty of other winners. Steer clear of this one.

I can’t even really remember what this tastes like as I was almost passed out at this point, but it was lightly hoppy and actually seemed ok at the time. Some caramel as well. Tap.
