Tap at Meridian Pint. Pours a clear lighter amber. Rocky, dense yellowish cream head. Good lace. Nose is sweet cherry and some metallic off character. Taste is bland, soapy, drained and suddy. Palate is mildly medicinal and metallic. Some cidery off flavors as well. Not nearly as good as their 8 point IPA.

Draft. This was purchased The Republic in Richmond. The lager was an attractive clear amber color with small head and lacing. Unique taste of caramel and some floral flavors. The lager had average carbonation. The finish was smooth with a gentle sweetness. Overall a good beer. I can see why it has won some top awards for its class.

This is a good Vienna style lager. It is less bitter than most lagers with a smooth finish. Great beer for any weather.

Nothing spectacular, other than they got the brew right. Drinkable, and repeatable. If you are hanging with the guys and need to be able to go all night, it’s a good choice. Tasted like German malts, German hops, and the temp was well controlled while making it. Fresher than 90% of the comparable beers from Europe, which is what gives it any sort of edge.

Somewhere: Pours an amber colour with a whitish head. Aroma is light caramel and lightly roasted malts. Taste is slightly sweet, with a slight caramel finish towards the end. The hoppiness is very slightly present and manifests itself towards the end. Nice mouthfeel. Pretty good, but not outstanding.

Sweet, too sweet, cloying despite being sub 5%. This beer has a diet soda taste as well.

Draft. Clear amber color, scant white head. Aroma of caramel and scotch. Taste is very malty with a quick transition toa bitter finish. OK.
