16oz on tap at Citizen Burger. Clear amber color. Thin white head. Some lace. Good lighter crisp carbonation. Dry finish. Good lager taste, with some sweet caramel malt. Nice light bitterness. Some salt. Light smokiness. Real good. Went great with my gigantic burger.

Tap. Slightly off-white head, brownish orange copper hue. Some slight biscuits, lightly sweet tofee malts, and a slight earthy bitterness in the aroma. Flavor is a touch on the sweeter side, and bready with some caramel. Medium to lighter body with subtle carbonation. Not offensive, just not my thing.

Bottle. Aromas of biscuit, caramel, and toasted malt. Clear amber with no head. Full bodied, medium sweetness with lots of malt character. Nicely balanced and to style. Light spiciness.

True to form and a decent session beer, but nothing too remarkable about it.

Pint poured from tap at World of Beer Arlington. Poured a pretty clear amber color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was mild malts, some bready notes, caramel in there too. Flavor was sweet malts, bready, caramel. Very light. Really drinkable, I’ve been able to use this one as a gateway craft beer with at least two of my friends in just the last few days. I’d say I’d probably pick this one up as a BMC alternative to the more timid of friends who would be more hesitant to try something else.

This poured a medium amber color with a beige head. Aroma was caramel, light dried fruit, and some oxidation. Flavor was much the same, a little nutty, and grassy and big caramel malt. Decent for the style but a bit bland.

Bottle. Pours translucent copper with dark straw bottom edge and a finger of off-white head. Nose is corn flakey vienna malt, mild earthy and hop notes. Tastes of vienna malt, corn flakes, earthy, and with finishing notes of roastiness. Not very complex, this one was a bit of a miss.

Just not a style I really care for. Flat, mild, malty, with not much to it. Not particularly refreshing, just sort of there.
