Just know that I like it. Appearance: Color is reddish amber and mostly clear. Aroma: Bready malt. There is no bitter bite to this beer. Smooth, "bready" malt with slight hop taste to it. Love this beer.

I enjoy beer. I like trying new beers whenever possible. I think that most of the reviews have the tone of someone more concerned with impressing beer snobs than giving an objective opinion about the beer.

Tasted from draft at Texas Roadhouse in York County. Nice amber color with white head which left a nice lace all the way down the glass.. Strong hop aroma. Crisp, hoppy flavor with a good finish. Will happily order again.

Pours amber, off white head. Aroma bready, yeasty, some spice. Taste is malty, some sweet toffee, some spicy flowery hops. Wonderful smooth carbonated mouthfeel. All come together in an excellent lager.

UPDATED: MAR 31, 2012 Served on draft as part of a sampler at the brewery. Pours a
copper color with a small head and moderate head retention and
lacing. The aroma is full of toasted malts with some fruity
notes. Taste is toasted malts with some fruity notes and nicely
balanced bitter hops. Medium bodied. Maybe the best vienna lager
I have ever had. Bravo.
I have had this numerous times over the years and I have always been very pleased by it. Rerating it because even the old score (3.8) doesn’t do it justice.

Had this beer in Charlottesville, VA at the oldest continuous restaurant in the area, The Virginian. So smooth and good with a great flavor and a beautiful light red color.

Aromas of toast, apple butter, and toffee. Clear, dark gold, with low retaining white head. Toasty, nutty, and dry, with prevalent, tannic, hop bitterness. Light-medium body, decent carbonation, finishes with clean, dry malty tones.
