Tasted from draft at Texas Roadhouse in York County. Nice amber color with white head which left a nice lace all the way down the glass.. Strong hop aroma. Crisp, hoppy flavor with a good finish. Will happily order again.

Vienna Style Lager… Devils Backbone Brewing Company. Pours light amber, immediate head that dissipates quickly and gives way to a pathetically thin layer of suds. Aroma is of generic beer… Malt and hops, bland aroma reminiscent of maybe 5 or 6 bucks a six-pack. If we are being perfectly honest I’m struggling to come up with any real description worth putting down on paper. It’s beer… at less than 5%. Devils Backbone makes plenty of other winners. Steer clear of this one.

I can’t even really remember what this tastes like as I was almost passed out at this point, but it was lightly hoppy and actually seemed ok at the time. Some caramel as well. Tap.

Clear gold appearance with a small off white head and a fair amount of lacing. Subtle aroma of cereal grains dotted with caramel. Malts dominate the taste, more toasty than roasty, and only modestly hopped. Smooth, slightly sweet, short lived finish. Well made session beer of an underappreciated style.

Great dark gold color. Not a real robust flavor that left me wanting for more. ---all in good suds.
