UPDATED: DEC 1, 2012 Bottled August 8 and tasted October 20. Pretty beer, nice head, perfectly clear amber color. Aroma of sweet malt, taste is more of the same with perfectly balanced hopping. Much less hoppy than SABL of course, but this is a very fine example of a Vienna. If you want a beer with some character but donít like an overdose of hops, this is a great beer for you. Had it a couple of times on draft .... OK for a Vienna, but light most of the way around.

Where and how: Bottle 355 ml
Aroma proper malty aroma with lighter hop notes (Noble hop set up). Pleasant rounded smooth and clean. 7+
Appearance :
Top: short lived, lighter top.
Base: clear amber.
Palate : medium bodied .
Taste: clean cut with solid malt basis. Proper hop feel, maybe tad too aggressive for Vienna. Still tasty brew.
other notes quiet authentic approach to style!

This bottle BONED 05.29.14. Nose toasty with grain thatís starting to turn, lightly sweet malt and faint nuts and smoke -- a lot more intensity of aroma than is normal for style. Clear, deep copper-orange with a sudsy beige head. Taste sweet but not cloying, a really nice maltiness with broadly rich flavor, toasted grain and sticky malt with honey and hints of raisin (!) in the bg, slight caramel and nuttiness, a little more yeast/grain in the finish. Hops contribute a but of citrus up the middle but little bitterness. Dries out slightly, fullish body, clean with no alcohol, extremely moreish!

Appearance: It has a nice transparent brown body with orange hues. The head is a creamy white cap that fades to a ring and a center island but leaves no lacing on the glass. Aroma: Not much of a nose. I get a light presence of malt but that is all. Taste: It has an extremely mellow taste. It has a slight walnut flavor. There is no real aftertaste. It is very watered down. Palate: The palate is nice and smooth and very light. Overall: It doesnít have a lot of flavor or aroma so there isnít much to really say about this beer. Itís not a bad beer it just isnít elevated enough. I wouldnít drink it again and I honestly wouldnít recommend it, but itís enjoyable enough to finish off the glass without a problem.
