Three passionate beer buyers from VA Whole Foods stores (Charlottesville, Short Pump, Virginia Beach) joined us to create a special hoppy APA. A blend of English Maris Otter & North American Pilsner malts form the structure for aromatic Citra & Mosaic hop varieties. Hoppy, round and crisp with wonderful citrus notes and aromas of pine.

Keg @ WF, C’ville. Gold pour with a prominent white head. Nose is full of honey, floral hops, orange peel. Slightly cheesy. Taste has a minty hop character. Grass. Honey and pale malt. White bread. Dry bitter finish. Medium body, soft carb. Solid.

Aromas of citrus and tropical fruit, and pine. Clear yellow-gold with a lasting, white head. Dry, fruity, and bitter. Light-medium bodied with refreshing carbonation.

The aroma is citrus mango and a touch of flowers. Bright toasted orange color with just a small lack of head persistence. The taste is tangy and dank hops up front with a clean finish. Could use a touch of either brumalt or melanoidin. Caramel is faint, just barely there. Drinks quick and clean. A great surprise from a limited run house beer.

Draft at Whole Foods Market Charlottesville. Pours a clear vibrant amber color with a thin white head. Average head retention. Aroma of herbal, floral, slightly minty hops, toasted caramel malts. The taste is toasted caramel malts, floral, resin and citrus hops, slight buttery note. Medium bodied, slight lingering bitterness. Very nice.
