Condensed review: ----- Appearance. Full Boar has a deep dark amber color with a tan-colored head remained which didn’t last long. ----- Smell. This beer has a very dark malty aroma with a nice strong roasty sensation. ----- Taste. Full Boar has a warm roasted flavor and with a hint of toasted malts. It is very malty and slightly sweetFull Boar has a great Scotch ale taste. ----- Mouthfeel. A creamy sensation from the carbonation manifests nicely as a medium-bodied beer that is full of flavor. ----- Drinkability. This is a pleasant and easy to drink scotch ale that gives you a nice warm feeling on a chilly evening. ----- Full review: http://beer47.com/2009/02/devils-canyon-f type: on-tap

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours almost clear deep mahogany with a small creamy beige head. Musty malty aroma, tobacco, sugars and some chocolate. Taste is more tobaccoish malty, dirty dark sugars, on the sweet side overall with a light smooth mouthfeel, nice enough.

Just an ok scotch ale, nothing memorable. Pours a deep red color with a tan head. Smells of malts, melon. Taste is pretty much just malty, with a hint of vanilla and melon. Had in the bottle.
