Alto, CA. Light brown color, minimal head, not much aroma to speak of . Nice rich carmel malt flavor, a little hops. Went well with the Creole Shrimp I had with it, and would also go well with other traditional New Orleans dishes, as it stands up to spicy dishes. Nice brew.

Sep 19, 2004 This was a pretty decent brew. A good amount of malt and light flowery hops are present in the aroma and flavor. Is a bit on the sweet side. Has quite a good mouthfeel considering the style, good body and smooth.

Aug 27, 2004 amber color, faintly cloudy. thin off white head that has medium last and average lacing. very weak nose, honeyish and faint floral/straw. very slick mouthfeel, medium to high carbonation. mild sweet maltiness and light balanced hop. minimal aftertaste.
